Sam Carpenter

Sam Carpenter is running for Stockton Unified School District Board of Trustees, Area 2, because this race is personal: he grew up in South Stockton, and now his own kids will be attending SUSD schools. Sam has built a career as a professional DJ, touring arenas and theaters nationwide and performing for over 300,000 people last year alone. Just as meaningful to him is the time he spends teaching autistic kids how to DJ, helping them build confidence and find their voice through music. Sam is running to put students first keeping kids safe and holding accountable anyone who harms them, raising math and reading levels, and ending corruption and back-door deals.
